Stephanie Rhoades Hume

Detroit Photographer, with a passion for capturing life.

I’m Stephanie Rhoades Hume, a freelance Detroit photographer, living and breathing in the city. I have been a professional photographer for 15 years, and built my career and personal style behind the camera here in Motown.

My photography has been featured in publications such as Deadline Detroit, Huffington Post and VICE. I am a Documenting DETROIT Fellow, and as part of the fellowship program I created a multimedia story of the events following the passing of Detroit’s own Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, which was shown in the Detroit Institute of Arts and in New York City.
